Space Science in primary school

60 primary school teachers from around 20 schools  spent two days for learning about how to use space science in their classes in order to enhance STEM education in primary education. The workshops were run by the ESERO Romania deputy- manager, Cristina Stancu  and the space consul of the region, Cornelia Melcu. The modules were related to STEM topics based on Space science for young students, life in space, train like an astronaut, launching a rocket, etc. and hand-on experiments suitable for young students.

The teachers were really delighted to learn more about how to use STEM resources in their classes and projects and they were made some experiments and activities which they would use in their lessons.

We are ready to prepare a new generation of space explorers :)
